The only time you can consider your switch from smoking to using an electronic cigarette a success is when you feel there is no need to go back to your old habit. There are certain things which can be done to make you really stick to it, such as getting a top-notch device. Also, the e liquid you use with it should contain nicotine in the amount that suits you the most.

When shopping for the product, the electronic cigarette user will learn that the amount of nicotine present is expressed in milligrams per milliliter or mg/ml. For instance, something that says 12 mg/ml means that there are 12 milligrams of dissolved nicotine in every milliliter of the solution. The buyer should note that a milliliter is equivalent to 1/4 of a teaspoon.

A consumer may decide to get light, moderate or strong nicotine levels. Some manufacturers or sellers also offer extra strong variants. There are also available solutions on the current market that contain absolutely no nicotine. Opting for them is recommendable for those who can do without the substance but still like to enjoy the same oral and tactile pleasure as smoking.

Someone who uses an electronic cigarette should choose the best nicotine concentration for him or her. This is true most especially if he or she has just started to embrace the habit. Getting something that does not provide what the person needs may only result in a failed attempt to evade smoking, thinking that the electronic counterpart isn't really that pleasing.

Someone who used to smoke not more than a pack of cigarettes a day may opt for e juice whose nicotine levels range from of 6 mg/ml to 12 mg/ml to be able to feel satisfied. A person who used to smoke an entire pack plus a few more sticks may purchase a product with moderate amounts of the addicting substance. The label usually says there's 18 mg/ml of it.

Worry not if you smoked heavily. In case you used to consume a minimum of two cigarette packs a day, it's a good idea to get your hands on fluid with the most amount of the addicting substance in it. Refilling your electronic device with something that states it has 24 mg/ml to 36 mg/ml of dissolved nicotine can give you the kind of throat hit that you need.

It's not unlikely for you to end up with a bottle of the wrong nicotine strength most especially at the onset of your new habit. Chances are that you may have to experiment with various concentrations initially just to find the right one for your particular needs. Often, it's a good idea to choose e juice with moderate nicotine strength at first.

Just in case it is too strong for the individual, there is no need to throw it away and get another one. What the electronic cigarette user may do is purchase another bottle in the exact same flavor but has zero nicotine. This may then be used to weaken the first one. It's easier to forget smoking if e juice with the right nicotine strength is used with the device.
