The art of twisting and bending ductile materials made lead to fine shapes and variety of products. The use of metallic threads of different thickness can result in fine materials or meshes patterns. There are many applications of metallic cords used today. They range from simple ties to myriads of patterns of favorite products. The following is a discussion of popular types of cables used in wire tying in the current world of construction.

The first category under the topic is the cold heading cords. These types of cables are widely used in fastening industry in formation of screws, nails, rivets nuts and some bolts that are stainless steel. They show an excellent corrosion resistance capabilities, and will give excellent finishing of the surface. They show low magnetic effects after heading and also winding. Also, the fasteners applied in construction projects and automotive industries use this type for quality finished products.

The second type is the forming flex. These types have stainless steel property and have many applications in real life. They are mainly molded and shaped into a manufactured product. They have excellent ductile properties plus others such as resistance to corrosion agents and also are strong. They are used in constructing wall ties and even exhaust brackets, clumps and fixings.

Another category in this article will be the galvanized tying wire. These are preferred for fastening and fortifying because they can do perfectly there. They are widely applied in as lacing cables in insulation industry in supporting items such as the Rock wool and other related mineral wool. Also, contractors still use them in construction for tying, re-baring and mesh fencing, cabling and manufacture of hangers.

The further search leads to the so-called spring stainless steel cables. These offer the corrosion resistance. Due to this property, their use nullifies the need to for additional layers to offer protection on surfaces. They get application in highly corrosive environments under high temperatures where the practices of maintenance such as replacements are difficult to conduct. The cables made tensile and strong.

The other category under the microscope is the stainless steel MIG wire. These are welding material manufactured to meet higher quality standards. They are known for their ability to provide characteristics of ease of use and consistency where many users have adopted them in the work. Use of inferior qualities will lead to additional costs during the prior welding and post-welding activities such as forming, surface and joint preparations among other activities.

Further, there is another category known as stainless metal profiled which is available for customers in various shapes depending on the specifications of the clients. They can range in shapes from standard rectangles to more complicated customer specified geometry shapes. The industry manufacture them towards the needs of the customer and availed to them after some formal arrangements.

The next cluster in the series is the stainless fastening cord. These are widely used in day to day applications in lacing and fastening. They are very soft and malleable. This means they are easy to bend and twist onto various surfaces. They also get use in insulation industry, for the process of re-bar, fencing and cabling. Other application will be in making of hangers and garden work.
